A third generation Angelino, I was born and raised on the ancestral land of the Gabrielino / Tongva on coastal Los Angeles. I tended the foothills of my beloved North East Los Angeles and practiced as an integrative therapist for many years. In 2021, I returned to the ancestral land of the Wiyot along the foggy coastline of Northern California, the sacred place I have cherished for 30 years. Under her tutelage, I rewild land, tend native flowering plants and irises of all kinds. My integrative practice continues on, expressing through new language across mediums in sculptural form.
